“Every person you will ever meet has infinite worth."

Mina Ishioka at Ishioka Counselling & Consulting.

I'm glad that you are here.
Thank you for your visit.

I am amazed by people's resiliency to live through each of their unique lives. I genuinely believe that each person has innate strengths that carried them through their life journey. My hope is to share individuals those therapeutic tools that are simple, readily available and accessible to use at any given time.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Approved Clinical Supervisor in good standing with British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. I have a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. My therapeutic approach is strength-based and holistic. I apply various therapeutic modalities to tailor my services including attachment theory, Internal family system theory, and EMDR. In the past 16 years, I supported children, youth and families in mental health at both non-profit and for-profit settings. I welcome people across the lifespan in regardless of their ethnicity, race, social status, spirituality and so forth.
